When I was very young... very... very young (before 7 years old), my mother always brought me to her nasheed rehearsal with her fellow apprentices. She mentored those ladies how to do a glee & unexpectedly I followed her mentoring at heart. Since then I became fond of singing, but my mother would never like me to professionally sing (because she wanted me to do medical like my father). So whenever I was home alone (while she was away for work), I would be singing loud from front to back of my house (while did the routine of house cleaning). Seemed my mother had a collection of cassettes by Datuk Sharifah Aini & Hetty Koes Endang, I had to admit those legends are my second & third mentor in singing (beside all those nasheed tapes!).

I had to suck in a lot of air into my lungs to really sang the way she did. It was great to sing like her, I brought everything out; my feeling, my breathing & most importantly my voice in the most sweet feminine way. Because of her, my voice didn't mature that much. I think... :P

Everything about singing is to find the harmonious feeling in yourself. But in order to do that, you've got to sing it with the right tune & the right feeling. You can't survive singing if you don't understand what you're singing about. So whenever you hear the experts sing, do it the way they did. Take my words, not everyone of us had the exact experience of what we're singing about, but at least try to feel what others trying to feel; especially for those who cannot sing like you, they'll need you to sing for them.

But love story in the GLEE drama series really about to show people, how messed up we are as human being when it comes to love. There are times when we thought we're in love with someone, yet at the same time we're dating someone else. When we thought someone we love is only normal when exactly abnormal! So the best way to get over it is find a song that tells your feeling & enjoy the moment with it. Or else, be weak & hate everything your hear. So I took a lesson with GLEE...
Never let my feeling being influenced by other people who came up to me & try to spoil my mood from loving someone I know I'm deeply in love with in songs that I sang!
NOTE: I'm writing this while watching GLEE Season 1 & those Malay lyrics are the only I can tune in my head without even have to copy & paste. d[^_^]b
